Yellow weather warning for rain

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain which covers western parts of the Scottish Borders on Friday.

Key information:

  • Warning runs from 6am to 6pm on Friday
  • Warning covers an area to the west of Peebles and the Yarrow Valley
  • 30-40mm of rain possible in space of six hours, with up to 70mm possible overall
  • Risk of flooding
  • Be prepared for rain and flooding
