Flood warning for Eyemouth - barriers deployed

Due to the prevailing weather conditions and wave heights coastal overtopping is expected in Berwickshire coastal communities.

Wave overtopping is expected around the time of high tides from 4pm on Friday 24 October until Sunday evening, with increased risk of flooding impacts at 5.19am on Saturday 25 October. 

As a result of the flood risk barriers are being deployed in Eyemouth. This will result in the closure of Harbour Road between Marine Parade and The Ship Inn.
