Weather Warning - Thunderstorms

Good Afternoon Citizen

The Met office have issued a Yellow Be Aware weather warning for Thunderstorms valid from 3pm to 9pm today. SEPA have also issued a general flood alert that warns of localised flooding and potential for surface water on the roads causing difficult driving conditions.

The storms may be very localised and some areas may not see any rain. The area most likely to be affected is the Tweedale district and the northern Borders around Heriot, Stow and Fountainhall.
