Flood Warning River Tweed

The Tweed at Peebles is expected to continue rising until around 4am, exceeding the flood warning threshold and potentially impacting properties. Property level protection should be deployed if it can be done safely. After the peak around 4am, river levels will slowly fall through the remainder of Sunday.

Properties at risk include Whitestone Park, Peebles Swimming Pool area,Tweed Avenue and the Walker's Haugh area. Flooding may also affect properties in and around Tweed Green and including Peebles Nursing Home.
